Our mission is to hand-produce cheese in line with new technologies, based on their differentiation through the unmistakable signs of quality and safety of our products, and with a marked social function aimed at caring for and developing the primary sector of the islands and their farmers.

Our vision is to become a benchmark in the production of quality cheese that is set apart by its consumers, employees, customers, suppliers, and all stakeholders in the company’s business.

Our values include maintaining and promoting our social and ethical commitment towards society, especially the farmers of the Canary Islands, understanding what provides value for our customers, and focusing on providing this value in everything we do, without forgetting continuous improvement towards excellence as a way of work.

In-house laboratory and state-of-the-art technology

Grupo Ganaderos de Fuerteventura make great efforts and devotes a great deal of resources into constantly improving the product, investing in facilities and technological infrastructures, and supporting the training and retraining of the workforce.

The company has an in-house laboratory and state-of-the-art technology to analyse and process the milk, and highly qualified technical personnel and supervisors.

ISO quality management systems certificate

Our firm commitment to the safety of our products has led us to subject the entire production process to the strictest quality controls. The company was the first industry of its sector in the Canary Islands to obtain the Sanitation Mark awarded by the Department of Health and Consumption of the Regional Government of the Canary Islands, and has held the International Quality Management Standard ISO-9001:2015 certificate since 2002, which focuses on the capacity to provide products and services aimed at customer satisfaction, and International Standard ISO 22000:2005 since 2011, which is based on the management of a Food Safety System aimed at ensuring food safety. Recently in 2019, the company was awarded the FSSC 22000 certificate, the international Food Safety Standard recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which matches the highest International Food Safety standard such as IFS, BRC, Global G.A.P, Primus GFS, Canada GAP and SQF.

Farmers are one of the company mainstays

We firmly support the sustainability of our farmers, working side by side with them to continuously improve their farms, in terms of both production systems and the condition and feeding of their herds, where we attempt to improve their productivity and profitability, leading to a better quality of milk.
